Barcelo Bavaro Grand Resort, Punta Cana Dominican Republic
The supplementation company I partner with is Plexus Worldwide, and they send their top leaders on a trip each year. It’s an earned trip, and this time it was to Punta Cana. The resort was beautiful, and the food… well, it was just okay. I'm not sure if there was just a big language barrier or if they just weren’t prepared for gluten-free, but either way, I was still able to make it work. The good thing is I didn’t gain any weight because I didn’t overeat! HaHa
All the restaurants and buffets were on the resort and are part of the all-inclusive package. I did feel like the buffet over on the adults-only side of the resort was better than the other one.
Here are a few pictures of the food I had. Unfortunately I did not do a good job of documenting which restaurant I ate these ate. We did go to hibachi one night and again they did cook my food to the side but there is always a risk of cross contamination, which is why I always travel with activated charcoal and digestive enzymes, probiotics and digest ease essential oil.
